LG rolls out latest smartphone ‘G4’ for sale worldwide

LG has confirmed that it has started to roll out its latest flagship device, G4, for sale worldwide, starting with Hong Kong.

The 5.5-inch screen smartphone, which went up on sale in its native Korea first, will eventually come to Turkey, Russia and Singapore. LG said that the phone will hit the markets in most of Europe, North America, CIS, Southeast Asia, Middle East/Africa and South/Central America over the next month but refused to provide more specific dates for those releases, reported TechCrunch.

The smartphone features new “quantum display,” which offers better color reproduction, and a redesigned camera with a larger sensor. The device is powered by a 64-bit hexacore CPU Snapdragon 808 processor and comes with a hand-crafted leather back, and subtle curve.

Google ‘s productivity apps come pre-installed on the phone and Chrome is the default browser, with Chromecast support baked right in.

LG said that the price of the device will vary worldwide. However, reports have suggested that it will retail for around 600 dollars without a contract and for 200 dollars as part of a U.S. carrier deal.
