The stock market made a sedate cautious today as the benchmark Sensex rose marginally, led by buying in realty, IT and healthcare stocks. Positive Asian cues also supported the markets. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng gained 0.62 per cent while Shanghai Composite edged up 0.59 per cent in opening trade today. Financial markets in Japan are closed today for a public holiday.
