Vivimed Labs, Blue Blends, 21 others hit 52-week high

A total of 21 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high on NSE are Agri-Tech (India) Limited, Antarctica Limited, Bil Energy Systems Limited, Blue Blends (I) Limited, Energy Development Company Limited, Euro Multivision Limited, Gangotri Textiles Limited, Ind-Swift Limited, Integra Garments and Textiles Limited, JHS Svendgaard Laboratories Limited, Kanani Industries Limited, Oriental Trimex Limited, Pearl Polymers Limited Premier Polyfilm Limited, Radaan Mediaworks India Limited, Ramsarup Industries Limited, SRG Infotec (India) Limited, Tijaria Polypipes Limited, Vaswani Industries Limited, Vivimed Labs.

The BSE Sensex opened at 24,882, touched an intra-day high of 24,913 and low of 24,422. It finally ended with a loss of 318 points at 24, 455.

The NSE Nifty opened at 7,562 hitting a high of 7,567 and low of 7,427, before ending with a loss of  99 points at 7,438.

The India VIX (Volatility) index was up 1.37% to 18.6050.
