Marco Rubio Reports Income From Book Royalties and Teaching
Marco Rubio, one of the least-wealthy candidates in the growing Republican presidential field, showed little change in his financial picture in 2014, according to disclosures released Friday.
The 43-year old senator from Florida reported liabilities of at least $450,000, including two mortgages and a home equity line of credit. In addition to his Senate salary of $174,000, he reported total income of about $110,000 from book royalties, a liquidation of a retirement account and salary from teaching at Florida International University.
Mr. Rubio made the disclosures in two separate filings on Friday, one for the Senate and the other as a presidential candidate.
