OnePlus ties up with AirConsole for exclusive games

hinese smartphone manufacturer OnePlus has tied up with AirConsole to bring users what the company calls ‘exclusive gaming content’ on their mobile phones.

AirConsole, whose motto is “Your browser is the console, your smartphone is the gamepad,” will provide the games free.

OnePlus users who wish to get an early access to Airconsole games, can visit OnePlus website. Once a user selects the option of ‘Play Now,’ the site will give send him a 6-digit code with which he can connect to his smartphone and get going.

OnePlus, which was till now famous for selling its smartphones only via invite, has recently announced that it will be selling its OnePlus 2 smartphone without invites.

Co-founder Carl Pei wrote in a post on making the phone available without invite: “The invite system has been crucial to letting us scale our operations and has given our fans a unique way to share OnePlus with the people in their lives. But we are always trying to enhance the OnePlus experience for you and taking risks to push ourselves and show real improvements. That’s why we’re making the OnePlus 2 invite-free … forever!”
